Cobrahistorian
Hey all, Just wondering if anyone's ever dealt with "Shipdoctor" or "Trident Hobbies" on ebay? I ordered a 1:48th Hasegawa Weapons Set D from him nearly 4 weeks ago and have yet to see it. Emails (4 of em) have not been returned. I've sent one last email in the hopes of getting something, but I'm ready to file a complaint with Ebay. I should have known when he's got 2600+ positive, but six negatives within the past six months, that there was something up with this guy. Oh well... Jon
Glen the Rotorhead
Slooooooow, and prone to screwups. People make excuses for him being a one-man show because he is apparently a nice guy. Nice guys don't sell beyond their capabilities in my book. That being said, I am confident that you will get your order - eventually.
Cobrahistorian
Well, I filed a complaint. The guy hasn't responded to a single email. He even went so far as to get me a UPS tracking number, but UPS says it was never shippped. That's not a nice guy in my book. That's a scam artist.
MICK
JON,I would file a dispute against him before your time runs out.Check out DISPUTE CONSOLE left column in your account. And I would contact Paypal if you used them, and also EBAY.They seem to go with the buyer rather than the seller. File a Dispute and a complaint and remind them about the other negatives he has and how he doesnt respond to emails even though hes taken your money. It sounds drastic but these guys when they sell beyond their means make the buyers pay for it.I sell on Ebay and at least in every auction I get just the opposite.I get deadbeat buyers. They bid and won and changed their minds and I am supposed to pay for their ignorance.Ebay has a lot of tools ,sometimes it works and sometimes the sellers or buyers just dont care.My attitude is give it a try ,if hes at this stage I dont think you have much to lose. Cobrahistorian
Mick, Yeah, filed a dispute the other day. He's got until the 7th to reply to it, but I strongly doubt I'll hear about it. I'm an ebay seller too and I have screwed up a couple times in the past, but I've always dealt with it immediately and to my customer's satisfaction. This is ridiculous. Unfortunately I've got three models waiting on weapons from this set. Looks like I'll have to look elsewhere. Jon
