Simon L
Italeri F-5E 1/48 is the Ex-ESCI kit i believe and is very good kit i am told.. HTH
phantom
I didnt mind the hobby craft A-4. Sure its not as good as Hasegawa, but the price is right. Only thing I remember being really off was the canopy. Built up well.
ikar
Is there something in particular that you are looking for to build?
CreepyGuy
The F-102 is a nice kit.
Netz
We didn't fly the F-5E nor the B-52H in Vietnam, they were F-5A and B's and B-52D's.
CreepyGuy
The VNAF flew F-5Es.
Julien (UK)
I would go for the F-5 kit there. Julien
g0_command0
If you build a F-5E, youll have to build a VNAF bird as they were the only one to operate the F-5E in VN.
Cusack77
Vietnam Buffs were only the B-52D, F, and G models.
phantom
No one flew F-5Es (I think), Pretty sure VeitNam only got F-5As. I would guess they also got some Bs. E's didnt come out till the early 70's

Mist
The F-111 is a good kit, IMO. It's a fun build
ReiRei0
habu; Erm... I know it's kind of late to reply to this, but those are F-5Es on the Midway. Check out the area where the fin blends into the fuselage, the wing root near the intakes, and the wingtip missile rails, which were an option on the A, but almost never used (it was only on the E where they became standard).
