The Loggie Posted May 4, 2006 Share Posted May 4, 2006 Do any UK ARC'ers have/know of/recall an old (1960's) series of newspaper/comics called "Wizzer n' Chips"? I recall very clearly reading some of these as a boy. They were VERY rare here in Australia. Among the elements they contained were "The Ruffies and the Tuffies" (about feuding hillbillies), "Archie" (about a robot), "The Steel Commando" (a WWII robot and his handler), "Adam Eterno" (about an immortal time traveller who could only be killed by gold) and "The Black Max" (about a mad German scientist/pilot who flew a (black?) Fokker Dr.1 triplane so that he could control his gigant killer bats)? I seek a copy/ies of "The Black Max" & "The Steel Commando" because I reckon that they would be unique Sci-Fi/contemporary subjects.
