Woodman
I'll give this one a go! I found a sweet little Model USA Cessna O-1E Bird-Dog that is begging to be built. I think I'll do the VNAF 124th OS, 1965 version. I'll post progress pics here as I go. :D
Albert Moore
Interesting entry. Not too often we see FAC birds built. I'll be tuning in! :D Cheers, Alby
CreepyGuy
I am really happy to see all of the VNAF birds for the GB. I can not wait to see it when it is done.
trietmcam
Excellent choice. You don't see too many FAC birds that often, and this will be a great addition to the GB. This was the historic bird that landed on the USS Midway in 1975 and now retired in Pensacola. Best of luck Triet

Cobrahistorian
Anyone got any reviews or info on this kit? Just came across a number of oddball shots of Bird Dogs in the Army Aviation Museum Photo Archives and I'm thinking about doing one now. Jon
Woodman
One word... rough. Fuselage - wing fit is bad and getting the clear parts to look even half decent is a real chore. There's also enough molding depressions and ejector pin marks to turn this simple 8-hour build into an epic battle between man and plastic. Personally, I put my battle back on the unfinished pile 'til I have the will to continue. Cute, but rough. :)
Cobrahistorian
Greaaaaat.... and I just found some incredible photos of Army O-1s in Vietnam.... Oh well... maybe someday. Jon
