Hi Guys,

This will be my entry in the build. 1/48 Tamiya Skyraider (Sandy) you have got to love the 3 tone camo scheme. I just hope that I can do it justice.

I have done some work on the cockpit and engine.

Hi Guys,

Well after taking a long time to complete my "Fort" for the Heavies GB I have gotten back to my Skyraider.

I just hope I have enough time to finish it.

Here is a small update.

I have it mainly put together, and getting it ready for the paint shop.

I finally got enough nerve to try giving the gear bay, doors and strut a wash of burnt umber, I think it came out fairly well.

What do you guys think?

Still working on some the ordanance load that it will have.

As always comments good and bad are welcomed.

Here we go guys. I finally got her finished with the help of a lot of the tips that I have found on this site.

I think this is the best I have produced to date.

This is the first build that I actually used a post shade on the panel lines and a wash in the gear bays. I think it came out looking decent.

Thanks Badcop.

I totally agree with you, this kit is great. I had no problems with it, other than figuring out how to mount the gun pod. Absolutely no filler required anywhere on the entire kit.

I still haven't mastered the antenae yet, so I left it off for now.
