My_name_1s_MUD
Anyone know where the best place is to get 1/32nd Remove Before Flight Tags? Thanks in advance.
Slartibartfast
If you'll ask that question again without "best", I'll give you an answer. "The best place" depends upon several things and changes almost daily. Guess this is a pet peeve of mine developed from spending too much time getting irritated at young, broke kids who insist on wasting their few dollars ricing up cars. My_name_1s_MUD
Perhaps I'll phrase it this way... do you know ANY place that sells 1/32nd scale Remove before Flight Tags? Normally I use Squadron.com, but I couldn't find an aftermarket provider there. I also checked Twobobs and couldn't find anything. Slartibartfast
Nicely phrased! I got mine from Expert's Choice. Sold by the Bare Metal Foil people.
John Wolstenholme
I have used these: http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=TYS32009 Can get a realistic effect by twisting/bending, whereas PE (Reheat?) I tried was disappointing.

geedubelyer
Hiya..... if you have n't already got hooked up here's another alternative: http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=VL0578 I've used these and was very pleased with them. You get a number of different types, lengths and designs and in three different scales to boot! HTH
TB2
While we're on the topic, what's the "average size" of an RBF tag? (I don't know if there are different sizes). I ask because a book I have on modelling the Hornet (Osprey I believe) states that some 1/32 RBF tags are oversize and a 1/48 is more in-scale for a 1/32 bird.
Cleveland Model Resins
Bear in mind some RBF tags can be up to 6 feet long - 57mm in 1/32! 48 inch tags = 38mm - even the little 12" tags used for ejector seat pins etc are over 9mm long! - you get my drift .... they actually 'look' huge in 1/32! We produce decals for them in 63" and down.
