Lee in Texas
I'm going to help my nephew build a model of a Landspeeder that hovers. We'll use magnets and some thin wire or fishing line. If you know of one, please let me know.
toadwbg
I don't know of any blueprints, nor is there a kit that I know of. You might want to consider the Kenner Toy that was re-issued in 95 or so. This could be taken apart and modified with your magnets. I think I even have an extra one if your interested PM me.

ckalina
Lee this any help to you.. But that doesn't seem quite accurate -- in particular, Luke's landspeeder had round engine nacelles, like conventional jet engines. These squared-off ones appeared on a different speeder seen in Mos Eisley (the "XP-38", I think, which is characterized as newer and more in demand). Philp
There is (or was) a kit but not sure how available it is. http://www.starwarsmodels.com/landspeeder.html There was also a toy issued that was between 72nd and 48th scale. Not micromachines but something like mini fleet or something. The vehicles came with figures that were close to 72nd. Edited July 8, 2006 by Philp
