smithery
Trevor is working in 1/32. You can follow his progress here. Hey Trevor, are there any specific types of shots you're looking for? The F-104 guru's around here are Finn and Sean Bratton. Perhaps you could drop them a line.
Sean Bratton
I don't have any photos of the drop tank structure and the only cut away I have doesn't have the tanks shown at all. I'll dig through my files at home tonight but I don't think I have anything there, either. Cheers, Sean
Finn
I don't have any info of the insides of the tanks either, but basicly they were hollow with added structure at the joints for bracing. Also there would be some internal plumming. The tail cone was screwed on so there was no fuel in there, otherwise i guess you'll just have to 'fake' it. Jari
Thundervett
Thanks guys Good to see your back on line Kevin. Hope there wasnt much damage on your move. Its going to my turn in two weeks. Thanks for looking into it guys. I was thinking I would have to fake it as mentioned. Ill add 3 bulkhead, 2 fuel lines with ball waits at the end, and the electronic fuel probe as well as all the venting tubes and protected electrical for the lights and that should pretty much do it. Thanks again. ps does any one have 1/32 Belgium or Luftwaffa decals kicking around? I sure could use them soon.
