My question - does anyone have any details of this particular Orion (squadron / unit, etc) and/or any further photos which would give an idea of the markings on the rest of the airframe? Many thanks. Vince Maddux Posted August 6, 2006 Share Posted August 6, 2006 Judgeing by the bird insigna, The plane belonges to VP-23. It would have the LJ tail code and the buno on it could be 161000. I could be wrong on the seril number. I've seen photos of plane 1, but it is and older one and another P-3 could have taken its palce over the years Vince Link to post Share on other sites
