aidy
Wasn't able to post any in-progress 'cause I didn't have a camera, but managed to borrow one today! Here goes...it's almost done, just need to deal with the fiddly bits, an oil wash and flat coat before it's finished. With 3-4 days left, I'm quite confident I'll be able to finish in time for my first completed GB entry in 4 tries. Edited October 27, 2006 by aidy
klimmer
Your Hawk is looking great. I loved the "nuts that you used for weights in the nose. What did you use to secure them? Also congratulations on finishing. Ted
aidy
Thanks, Ted. Secured the nuts with lots of super glue.

budman1
I was with VMA121 from the spring of '66 to Dec'67. I thought all of my photos had been lost in a fire but I just found a few. If you are interested, I'll try to scan some of them and post some of them. Is there any interest? The decals are pretty close but not 100%.

I just happen to be working on a VMA-121 Scooter currently for the "Gone But Not Forgotten" GB and would love to see any photos you may have. I only have one photo and it is not very good. I'm sure the guy's in " Research Corner" would be interested as well. There is a dedicated Scooter thread there for posting your Skyhawk photos.
