David Walker
The cockpit looks very good so far. Wasn't the A-4KU the same as an A-4M, at least cockpit and canopy-wise? I would think the Has. A-4M would be a better starting point.
thom
Beats the hell out of my cockpit.... nice job!

Thought I would make use of those Cutting Edge sets instead of tossing them.

How well did the cockpit side walls fit? .. farily well I think, then again, this is my first attempted conversion. electronics hump and wings are dry fitted, time to start puttying and sanding the fuselage. gkicsak
Benner, Looks great so far. Hope mine turns out as good as yours. Have you finished your ejection seats? Any hints on what kinds of washes and dry brushing you used? Cheers, Gabe
Benner
Have you finished your ejection seats? Any hints on what kinds of washes and dry brushing you used? I haven't even started the ejection seats yet; it's not even cut off it's base yet. I didn't dry brush, but I did use tamiya black for a wash (used Model Master enamels for the cockpit first). In the pic where the fuselage is not glued together yet, one cockpit side has been washed and the other had not yet. Edited September 7, 2006 by Benner

Benner, If you don't mind, can I get you to walk me through the painting and detailing of the ejection seat. I have never made a jet and all of this is new to me. It will be good to get mentored through this stage. Cheers, Gabe ;)
