berneckir
The early TBM's (pre -1) had a second seat where the radio equipment was placed behind the pilot beginning with the TBM-1. Does anyone know of a source of detailed photos from this area of the early TBM's? Thanks in advance. Rich

No TBM's had the second seat unless built as 'Tarpons' for the FAA, as the TBM's were all built by Eastern Aircraft (GM) based on the TBF-1C onwards. The TBF & TBM Detail and Scale (Vol.53) has some great pictures of the early TBF-1 rear cockpit area. Cheers, Pete M.
