Saw on CNN that the F-14 is retiring.

Recommended Posts

When watching CNN, they mention that the F-14 Tomcat is making a final flight tomorrow and that they'll have a live report on that day. Is this true?

Wow. Someone who doesn't know about this? :)

Go visit the Real Aviation forum. A couple of ARCers are in the Davis-Monthan area, and there may be pics of the final flight soon. I think it might've been today. There are a few airframes left that'll fly to museums, but the final Tomcat either has been or will be delivered to the boneyard.

Here's a link to RipVW's relevant thread: http://s102164210.onlinehome.us/forums/ind...showtopic=98436
