aerofan
When watching CNN, they mention that the F-14 Tomcat is making a final flight tomorrow and that they'll have a live report on that day. Is this true?
BAM'n'IVM
When watching CNN, they mention that the F-14 Tomcat is making a final flight tomorrow and that they'll have a live report on that day. Is this true? Wow. Someone who doesn't know about this? :) Go visit the Real Aviation forum. A couple of ARCers are in the Davis-Monthan area, and there may be pics of the final flight soon. I think it might've been today. There are a few airframes left that'll fly to museums, but the final Tomcat either has been or will be delivered to the boneyard. Darren Roberts
The last flight of the Tomcat will be on Friday at roughly 10:00AM at the Sunset Ceremony in Oceana. It's sad that there's only 2 more days of the Tomcat officially being in service. It was a great airframe while it lasted, though.
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Yeah...funny how a machine, forged of metal and other assorted bits, grows to feel like a family member. Except this one leaves. *sigh*

Skull Leader
CNN, of course, always gets their wires crossed. You'd better believe I'm gonna run all 3 cameras I'm taking dry... and once I've loaded it all onto the hard drive of my laptop? I'll do it all over again the next day.
