Jay,

Heres how I do it:

1. Convert picture to black and white

2. Click on Ajustments and go to Photo Filter

3. Select either the warming filter or Sepia (either one works well)

4. If you choose Sepia increase the tint to 50%

5. Add a VERY small amount of noise.

6. Adjust brightness and contrast as you see fit.

7. Enjoy your ''aged'' picture!

thanks a bunch! i think i have a different version of photoshop than you though. under adjustments, there is no photo filter, but i did some playing around and by changing the image color to duotone and making it black and a brownish orangeish yellow instead of white, it turned out looking sepia. Heres the result. Not a DotR, but luftwaffe just the same.

Although this one isn't from the DOTR timeframe, I thought I'd include it anyway.

I really enjoy seeing all the outstanding work posted in this gallery. This is going to be a great GB!

Enjoy!

When building this, I filled the forward nacelles with weights, applied a large amount of thin super glue to hold it in place and then watched the heat from the glue curing melt the nacelle

Next time try a hot glue gun! The glue is basically a plastic or wax with a melting point that's reached with the electrically heated tip. Once the liquid glue is applied it cools down and solidifies. That way it won't melt your plastic!

I built these a few years ago, the Dragon Me163 was hard to fnd at the time (before Revell did their thing). I used some PE and Aeromasters' transfers. I added a MK108 from Revell's Bf110G kit to one of the wing roots as well.

The Bf110 may seem a little out of place, but they were used to tow the 163s from airfield to airfield to save fuel and pilots. The kit is Fujimi's ancient Bf110C, made to look a bit war weary, having been around since 1940.

I've always had a soft spot for the Komet.

Nice work, especially that Dora looks very graceful.

i've finished my Me-110 as a dayfighter, it didn't turn out the way i wanted it and i should stay clear of this Italeri Me-110 (nightfighter, 1:72) . I decided to paint it with a brush and i just should stick to using the AB when appropriate. Lesson learned.

Markings are generic by the way
