The only big offender I have in my stash are Tomcats. 8 1/48th Monogram Tomcats in 8 different boxings, 12 1/72nd kits from just about every company and 3 1/144th Dragon kits (5 total).

Although I have turned a few heads with my Memorial Day project, a 6 kit Sea Harrier build.

Nice :D

My turn to revive the dead thread :D

I re-entered the hobby after more than 20 years of not touching a model kit last year... naturally, I had to build up my strategic stockpile

Multiples modern military jets (only) in 1/48 scale (only):

2 X Mirage IIIC (Eduard) brand new acquisition

2 X Mirage F-1 (Various) * old stock ESCI F-1C; 1 brand new Italeri F-1CT

2 X SAAB Viggen (ESCI) * old stock *

2 X Phantom (ESCI) *1 20 year OLD partly cannibalised, 1 NEW old stock - found bagged in LHS*

6 X Phantom (Various) * 1 old stock Hasegawa F-4G, 1 old stock Testor RF-4 (kept nose only); 2 brand new Hasegawa RF-4; 2 brand new F-4E/F

6X F-14 (Various) 4 brand new Hasegawa F-14 B/A/D; 2 brand new Academy Bombcat

4 X F-15 (Various) * 2 old stock (Tamiya and Hasegawa); 2 brand new Revell F-15E

4 X F-16 (Various) * 2 old stock Hasegawa; 2 brand new Tamiya F-16C

4 X A-4 (Various) * 1 old stock Monogram OA-4M, 3 brand new A-4E/F/SU

Don't get me started on airliners... just started dabbling in the more colourful subjects of civil aviation early this year... current fleet (in 1/144):

3 X Airbus A319/320/321 (plus 2 X in 1/200)

3 X Airbus A330/340

2 X Boeing 737 (plus 2 X in 1/200)

2 X Boeing 777 (plus 2 X in 1/200)

 Giles

A timley update... all 1/48

3 X Mirage IIIC

2 X Mirage 2000D

6 X Mirage F-1C/CR/CT

3 X SAAB Draken

2 X SAAB Viggen

2 X SAAB Gripen

10+ X Phantom (actually lost count)

8X F-14

6 X F-15

6 X F-16

8 X A-4

Found my Vietnam collection... multiple AC47, AC-119, AC-130 gunships in 1/72

Growing fleet of airliners in 1/144

6 X Airbus A319/320/321

4 X Airbus A330/340

2 X Boeing 737

5 X Boeing 777

And, I started buying early US Navy jets

I loved coming across this. My wife couldn't understand why on earth I needed to have 50+ kits sitting in the attic. I showed her this thread and now she doesn't think that I am totally crazy....just slightly mad :nanner: Most of my kits are 1/48 or 1/32 scale post war jets including; 9 Eagles; 5 Tomcats; 8 Falcons and 7 Phantoms.

As the topic title and description says. For me it's the F-4 PhantomII because there are so many in the family - B,C,D,E,F,G,J,K,M,S,EJ and let's not forget the FGR.1, FGR.2 and RF-4B,C,E,F and EJ. Did I miss one? Yes, I have a Phantom Phixation!

I agree with you not having enough phantoms and currently have 39 in the stash, 3 under construction and 1 under reconstruction. After that its the Fw190 with 6 and Me 109s with 4 in the stash.

I guess you can say I'm a Phantom Phanatic!

I have a bit of an obsession with the Mirage III and variants. I currently have 1/48 Mirage III CJ in bare metal finish and the 1/48 Mirage III R finished. I am currently building the Hobby Boss 1/48 Mirage III CZ with bare metal finish and have the 1/48 ESCI Kfir C2 on stand by as well as the 1/48 Heller Mirage III C with the Cheetah E conversion. I don't know what it is but Delta wings just do it for me, I guess they just make an aircraft look sleek and fast.
