davetur
Hi Phillip, very nice and neat model! Just for your benefit "Ostrega che sbrego!" is hard to translate, because it's the dialect of Veneto, the italian region of Venice, just to name a place which should be known worldwide. Ostrega is something like "damn" and sbrego can be both deep wound or a tear in fabric. So in English it would sound something like "damn, what a tear!". I discovered it's the title of a popular comedy in venetian dialect which dates back to 1907, written by a guy named Arnaldo Fraccaroli. So it's quite plausible the comedy was still popular in 1938, and was chosen as a name for the plane, with the "tear" or "wound" maybe hinting at some personal occurrence.. Ciao Davide

bertopinal
Hi to all, i'm from Italy and new on this forum. This is my very first post :thumbsup2:/> Because i lived many years in Venice i be able to inform you about the real meaning of the phrase " ostrega che sbrego" ; in venetian parlance is an idiomatic phrase used as a menace against someone and mean : "pay attention, i will hurt you". In the case of the CR-32 the obvious menace is against the enemy planes. r. Edited January 3, 2016 by bertopinal

Chris L
Hi Steve . Beautiful build . I remember attempting to build one together in the late 70's . The only bird so far that I have not been able to complete . I have learned a few things since then and acquired a lot mote tools. I have bought another and plan on trying my hand at it again in the not too distant future. Cheers,Christian
