USAFsparkchaser
I am building the Revell kit and would really like to put a launch tower together and found this item http://www.educraftdiversions.org/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=1%3A144%2DLUT it looks really nice, one question about it though. I can't tell how the tubing is represented on this display? Is it round? Any replies about this would be really appreciated. Thanks.
habu2
Most of the vertical and horizontal structure is flat or bent at 90 degrees. The diagonal braces are rolled into tubes from flat stock. The instructions mention substituting drinking straws for the rolled pieces.
Rob J
I have the Saturn V LUT from educraft. I haven't built it yet, but i've gone through it and read through the instructions. I'm looking forward to it. Another possibility for the smaller tubing/struts is lollipop sticks. You can get them at places like Hobby Lobby and Michaels, where they have the candy making supplies. They are a tightly rolled paper "stick", and are available im several different lengths.
