  1. ......Nice build Tony on the Attcakr........I really like jets that are taildraggers, not that there are many. Very pretty, and loitering is right, your clear is really smooth. I hate it when i get the runs..............
  2. Hello all, just wondering....does anyone know the interior color that North American finished export RAF Mustang 1's in? The AM kit instructions say IG, but I'm wondering based on when these birds were built......late '41, early '42 that they should be DDG? Or were they a NA approximation of the RAF IGG? I have studied as many color photos as I can find, but the interiors are usually in shadow and I cannot tell what color they are...... Any thoughts and ideas would be really great!!
  3. ....guys I was going through the old posts and I saw this B17. I always wanted to build a Memphis Belle model of the B17 and this sure makes me want to do it more. What gets me is how nice the glass is, on top of everything. When I built Revells B17 I really mucked up the glass this one one shows how it should be done..........
  4. Had an accident this morning, spilled Polly Scale Clear Gloss out of my airbrursh cup and onto the belly of my P-40. The belly is painted with Model Master Neutral Gray....well cured. I had to leave for work so I just wiped up what I could, and left it to dry out. Does anyone know, what I could use to remove the Polly Scale Clear?? Just wondering, cause I'm going to have to deal with it when I get home.......
  5. There are a couple places up in Canada where you could contact. Uncle Bill Hobbies has lots of old kits. Plus there is a place called Invader Hobbies too, he must have some Invader models up there. I would place an add on these boards, either of of them will help you out.
  6. I dunno about you guys, but the hobby shops in my area 5-$7 might get you some tube glue and a cheapo paintbrush...........
  7. Boy zchen did you ever nail that, I dont even want to bring up the fact I still use my Binks Wren, ( I gotit in my stocking for Xmas in 1960) otherwise mr. urlooney will be all over me. I got another worry tho too, there is a romour going around our house that Im getting a airbrush for Xmas again this year. I was thinking that if it's an Aztek, Im goin to be in a world of urlooney hurt. But, then there a bunch of great people on this board that use Axteks and do well with them. so Im sure I can ask them if there are troubles, and they will help me!
  8. I have a badger 200 that I use, it's easy to use too. I have a badger 250 that works for large area things, like the Airfix Mustang in 24 scale. I have used my badger 250 to even fix the front fender of my motorcycle. It sprayed the large area great. Both are cheap too
