  1. Started this oldie as a side project while waiting on other stuff to dry or filler to cure. It's quickly taken on a life of it's own. Short shot the lower tail plane, so I cut it away and will replace with thick card and shape. The cockpit and seat came from an F-102 kit. It came off eBay without the clear sprue, so it became a doner kit. I'll source a new instrument panel, since the Deuce had a radar screen and hood. Probably something WWII. The putty is where I slipped with the grinding wheel and gouged the plastic a bit. Paint job will be a
  2. As has been said, the engine covers really make the whole model pop. Great job with the tanker!
  3. Gorgeous Herk. Love the mix of color, with the greys. Excellent work!
  4. That is some spectacular work. Great job with the complex scheme, decals and weathering. Great idea. -Jeff
  5. Wow, another cool project to watch. It's already looking great with the extras you've added. -Jeff
  6. Impressive amount of resin bashing and scratch building detail! And looking forward to your conversion from an Early F-4E to a later-ish one. -Jeff

  8. Taxied past this Eastern 767 the last couple of days. Thought of your 737 project.
  9. See this thread from last year
  10. Simple build of a nice classic kit. Well done. The Mikoyan pin is a great touch.
  11. Good lord, that's a great model. I'm floored by the weathering. Captured that faded look perfectly. That's what I love about this hobby. How we push techniques further to achieve results that make them look more lifelike. Congrats! -Jeff
  12. They sure do. The ANG/AFRes has a large part of the mission. California, Colorado, Wyoming and Nevada. Of more interest is this proposal for the C-27J to join the fleet of aircraft. Could be great for Europe. https://www.maffs.com/c27j/ -Jeff

    E-2D announced?

Thanks for the intel on the Heller kit. My Hasegawa kit arrived yesterday, but I wasn't home to sign for it. So I'll retrieve it today and crack it open. I think you're spot on about them getting more Deltas overseas where they can get their eyes on one for an update. Until then, I'll wait. Thanks all! Jeff
