  1. Hi all, bit of a long shot, but figured I'd ask - I recently bought a Kitty Hawk Mirage F1CT/CR, but didn't realize the clear sprue had been crunched - I'm looking for the two main canopy parts (windshield and main canopy). Don't have the part numbers off hand, but will update with those when I can. I'm also looking for the engine cowl for a Tamiya 1/48 P-47 kit (mine is missing), and ideally, the fuselage spine parts with the dorsal fin extension from the P-47M kit. If anyone happens to have any of these bits they'd be willing to part with, I'd be happy to pay a r
  2. Bump: removed sold items, added a couple others; will probably be adding a few more as I continue to downsize.
  3. I hadn't planned on doing any build of the "Red River Hog," but might have to after a recent experience... looking forward to this release!
  4. Looking to clear out some kits that I know I'll never get to; reasonable offers accepted; open to trades, including multiple kits for one, if you have something I want. Paypal preferred, can also do cash or other means, if necessary. Would prefer to keep shipping within the US, shipping costs not included. Shipping from 98374, via USPS (flat rate boxes, which will generally run $8-15.00 per box, unless requested otherwise). *Shipping Calculator links added at bottom* PM or respond to this thread if interested, or email at joshuapkaiser "AT" gmail. My trade interests are mostly limi
  5. Hi all, One of the many projects I've got going currently is a set of five Hasegawa 1/200 C-130s - all have started life as C-130H kits, but I'm planning on converting/modifying them to create several different variants, including an MC-130H, KC-130T, and possibly L-100-30. As such, I've got a lot of scratch building ahead of me, but wanted to check to make sure I'm not missing something. From what I can tell, there's basically nothing out there by way of aftermarket, short of some six- and eight-bladed props available on shapeways (which have me seriously tempted...), and decals aren't m
  6. Jumping back to the Boeing T-38s, I would love to see either of theirs, or their CT-133s done in 1/48; I've photographed all four auite few times, and they'd make for some neat variation on the shelf... All would need some minor detail updates and alterations, but nothing too crazy. 7. Hi all; I picked up a Tamiya P-47D "Bubbletop" kit awhile back, and finally got around to looking in the box this weekend, and It looks like there are a couple parts I'll need in order to build the version I'm planning on. First, and most critically, I'm in need of the main engine cowl, part B42. I'm also hoping to build a later bubbletop version (actually a restored warbird) that has the later extended dorsal fin. I'd be more than willing to trade the "un-finned" upper fuselage parts from my kit (H1 and H6), if someone has a set of the later parts they'd be willing to
  8. Oh boy... I thought I had good plans for my two Revell Mudhens, but of course now I've got to either change that decision, or get myself another kit... I got to see two of those jets earlier this year up close - couple interesting details I got from talking to the crew: The mission markings on "Tiger One" are a "tribute" to the CO, whose callsign was "GOAT". The noseart itself almost appeared to be done in chalk or something similarly temporary, and was very heavily faded. TIGER ONE by Josh Kaiser, on Flickr -333 was known as "Triple Cripple" due to bo
  9. One of the three heritage birds from Lakenheath was a C, but was painted in the same dark gray (36118) as the two Es, I assume for consistency's sake. I don't remember ever seeing a "Light Gray" Eagle in anything other than the standard grays (besides the ASB, aggressors, and some of the early experimental stuff, of course) otherwise, but wouldn't mind being proven wrong - the F-15 looks good no matter what color it is!
  10. Any more details on what would be required? I've got the K kit as well, but was thinking of converting it to either an MH-60S or a HH-60G... Or maybe just a straight UH-60L...
  11. Not today, but yesterday... got to see quite a few pretty cool things, including one of the F-16s that was scrambled over DC on 9/11... 12. I'm possibly interested in the F-16 package - how far along is the started kit?
