Sgt Shultz II
According to the internet the M-41 entered service and was used to replace M-24's late in the Korean War. Does anyone know what units they were assigned to? Just guessing but would they still be wearing WWII tanker uniforms?? Thanks for looking! Ron P
HeavyArty
No idea on units, but the M41s were fielded after the cease-fire agreement was signed in the Korean war. No US M41 was ever fired in anger by a US crew. They were all used for training in the '50s and early '60s. There have been many used in combat by other nations though, most notably South Vietnam. The crews at the end of the Korean war were still wearing basically the same uniforms as they were in WWII.
