Anthony in NZ
As the title says, has anyone heard of them and what their basic kits are like? I am looking at getting one (some on-line sources say 1/32 and others 1/30 so I am unsure what this is). http://www.piazzaimodels.com/index.php?lang=en It seems they have full interiors as well Cheers guys Anthony
salvador001
First time i see this, they look like wooden display models. Better buy the old 1/48 Heller AS-350 and get the Renaissance super detail set with photoetch and resin. It looks fantastic. Rod.
Lupusprimus
Piazzai Models usually do not sell individual models to private customers. That Prefabricated models by plastic. Scale usually good, but little details. Send them a mail, sometimes they react. My Tiger is based on a model of which.
Anthony in NZ
Thanks Rod That was my first thought as well. However I am looking at buying one as it is available in kit form, plastic body with clear windows and it has a full interior... Cheers Anthony

K5054NZ
Anthony - I saw one of these Squirrels on TradeMe last night (no link as I'm at work) and was thinking about it, but my budget can't quite stretch that far right now. It looks pretty sharp, though. You should go for it! I'd love to see what magic you could work with it. :woot.gif:/> Edited June 29, 2016 by K5054NZ
Anthony in NZ
Yes mate, that is the one I am looking at. Price is high, but imagine it done up possibly with spray bars etc....? I have a shared container coming from Vancouver Is that has an aeroplane and big load of Auster parts in it for Baz and I (not the aeroplane...sadly Lol) I really cant afford it right now as I just brought the SH Tempest! Had I seen this first I would have brought it, but now I will have to think about it... Cheers mate Anthony
K5054NZ
I heard about the container on Facebook and boy oh boy am I excited to find out what the non-Auster thing is! (no offence to your respective projects intended!) I was thinking spray bars too...if you can, go for it. I doubt I'd get around to it as I still haven't finished my 1/50 one I bought while still at Aero Work! I'm excited that you're getting the Tempest, that looks like a fun project.
