  1. Hi, friends. Here the pics of my new concluded plane. It's the Italeri 1/48 IL2 Sturmovik (Accurate mold). Despite being a recognized brand kit, it was a real pain in the fool to get a decent model. Complicated kit, bad fittings, without any detail especially in rivets or relief lines, which I had to redo. The idea was to make a painting that represented the plane as leaving the factory, in wood and metal finish. For this I used the RB models PE masks, which perfectly represent the details of the wood. It was the first test to learn how to use the RB set. And I got a goo
  2. After some indecision, finally I made my final decision. I will made the Revell 1/32 F-4E in vietnam marks. I don't know exactly what plane, but it will be one slatted plane, with the Shark Mouth. Soon I will open the topic. As the marks will be made by paint, what plane it will be is no trouble. I'm researching to find a MiG Killer with that characteristics . If any one know any slatted plane who are a MiG Killer, just show me, please. Something like this: Thanks for your patience. Cheers, Paulo.
  3. Alright! I give up! I will do the F-4C ScatXXVII piloted by Cel. Robin Olds, in 1/48, academy kit.
  4. I have another solution, if it aceptable. I have one F14 1/32 Revell, already assembled, to be restaured. My intention is to disasseble the model (at least great part of this), to made corrections, and reassemble, paint and decaling it. For this plane, I have decals to made an Iranian cat, and some afters to include in the project. What do you think? Paulo.
  5. Thanks, man. Let me go for these decals. This could be a good one. Cheers, Paulo.
  6. Unfortunately I could not find references who confirmate any mig shot about the plane that I was intended to build, the F-4G BUnº690263. I will search in my stash to find another kit. I have the Academy Scat XVIII from Cel. Olds, but at this time I wish not to buy it. As I could find any other plane, I will sign in with him. Thanks, Paulo.
  7. This GB brought me a lot of satisfaction. But also some problems. I have at least 30 kits in such a "shelf of doom" ... What to choose first? Anyway, let's raffle one and sign up. The model: ESCI Saab Viggen 1/48. Time starting: 2015, I do'nt remember the month, possibly june. The kit was left to the shelf in the same year, because my patience was lower than the ammount of work needed to finish it at that time. I Personally I give up to the rescribbing and riveting of the kit. Now is the time to finish it! Actual state: Things to do:
  8. It's Aceptable to the GB mote a F-4G Wild Weasel, in Gulfwar markings? Paulo.
  9. If you decide to canibalize the wings of an Hase kit, I wish to ask if you could sell to me one of the front parts. I have one hase kit, already in the box because they send me two right parts instead of one of each side. The part that I need is the left part, the one with the vulcan opening. The part that i need Is this:
  10. Thanks for the link. I will buy one set, for sure. Cheers, Paulo.
  11. Finally a correct tomcat wheatering! I was thinking that no one would make the wheatering like the real planes: With the lighter paint at the border of the upper panels! For sure, I would be very grateful if you could report how you got to that level of detail in the painting. It could be at least a description of the processes used. Congratulations! Cheers, Paulo.
  12. Hi. no. I painted the entire upper surface in nocciolla, then made the blotches in dark green, by freehand. It took time, but went gone as I imagined. Thanks, Paulo.
