  1. Yes, there is a trade stand at N 15 but it is for : Kanea Models N - 15 There is absolutely no mention anywhere that it is for Clear Prop! If a visitors wants to find this table then have a look here: N 15 is up on the balcony in the main sports hall Best regards Gabor
  2. Here are the two other marking options for the new Annetra Mi-17 helicopter kit. It will have its premiere at Moson show this weekend. Best regards Gabor
  3. Dear Sabrejet! WHERE will ClearProp be presenting the new kit at Moson???????????????????????????????? The Moson show is a "fairly big" event with two big halls and three vendors areas!!!! It is like search for a needle in the haystack? They (ClearProp) are not on the list of participants/vendors! So WHERE will they show the new kit or ideas about it?????????????? Best regards Gabor
  4. Here is a layout map of the vendors hall with some companies marked. If you want to find the Annetra Mi-17 kits, they will be on sale so added the Annetra position in the hall for your convenience. Best regards Gabor
  5. Where will Clear Prop be represented at Moson??? I dont see them in the list of participants (or I missed something), well not under their own name anyway. Will look for it at the weekend. Best regards Gabor
  6. Here you go. Just received the information on the extras in the set. The photoetch is the same as in all previous Annetra / AMK kits There is a set of masks for the kit. The resin parts include the “Lipa” IR jammer disco light and the after end of the external fuel tank with the big cut-out. And of course the new decal sheet with the four markings options. Best regards Gabor
  7. Hi Cruiz, I would say stay tuned. As soon as I have more information I will post it here. The Annetra kit was originally designed to accommodate many different versions of the Mi-17. To achieve this different extras were designed for all sorts of Air Forces using the helicopters. Last year at Moson there were 4 different boxings of Mi-17’s. Each had particular details added from resin to make each kit as authentic as possible. I believe the same is happening with the Latin American boxing. Best regards Gabor
  8. The eagle has landed on my workbench! It took some time for MN Modelar to stock them but at last it is here!!! I believe it had spent several months on high seas in a container before getting here in Europe. I would like to thank Pali for this kit, since Christmas came early (after Easter) this year and this kit was in the stockings! What can I say about the kit? Everything has been mentioned on pages above! All I can add it looks simply great! Bravo to FineMolds designers! Best regards Gabor
  9. For the Moson show this weekend (20th & 21st April 2024) the Czech Annetra company is coming out with a new version of its Mi-17 kit in 48th scale. It is a limited edition No. 48 004 of Latin American Hip’s. Four marking versions are included in the kit: Cuba, Mexico, Costa Rica and Peru. Since it is a limited edition kit it will be sold in a white box with a sticker denoting the version. But the content of the box is what really interesting! Of course it has the standard Annetra/AMK Mi-17 plastic parts. A small photoetch fret is included, some resin parts as well as painting masks.
  10. Getting back to the FIneMolds Phantoms. As shown earlier the Thunderbirds Phantoms were early production and back in the days when they were operational with the display team the parachute container cover was still the early version. The kit gives you standard F-4E with the “late” version tail cone (Sprue H), with the “smiley” openings on them. Ether one simply fills and sands the holes as well as the antenna panels on them. And to finish simply drills a hole further up to represent what they looked like in late 60’s early 70’s. Or the alternative is to source the tail cone f
  11. Until ten years back the usual practice was to have just a map of Hungary and one of Europe. But with more and more foreign visitors arriving from further away it was changed to a World map and a European. The European map back then shows well where modellers came from. Best regards Gabor
  12. I don’t have the new U-2 kits, haven’t seen them close up only the sprue images in forums. But there is a video of real U-2’s prepared for flight and it has tons of information for modellers! This includes some views showing trailing edges and based on those images there are certainly some “ribs” on given surfaces. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6eTTyRmiSM Sure, it is possible that the kit manufacturers have overdone it on plastic, but in my opinion it is still better to have it this way than none at all. With some primer and sanding paper modellers are able to “tone
  13. Hi MoFo, I am sure there are some visitors who think it is a good joke to have a pin in unthinkable countries. But most of the pins are real visitors from the given place. I know it was so with those South and North American visitors. Few years ago I was standing in front of the map to be surprised that there were visitors from South Korea. We were talking that this must be wrong. A young guy behind us responded that it is he. He really came specially for the show and was not just a tourist visiting Europe and dropping in by chance. No, his friends told him that there is a bi
  14. In exactly a weeks time, on weekend of 20th / 21st of April we will have the biggest European scale modelling competition at Moson in Hungary. I will be there on Saturday so feel free to stop me and have a chat about the FineMolds Phantoms or for that matter the brand new Thunderbirds version of it. That is my back pack with an exact replica that I made of one of the Starfighter C-2 ejection seats Remove Before Flight tags for the ejection D ring. Fortunately one of the my seats had the RBF in fairly good condition so it was easy to copy it. Sorry I will not have any real ejections
  15. Hi Mike, Once again all I can say is WOW and a very big thank you!!!!!!! The fish tails. This is an interesting subject, here you see them, there you don’t. It is about time to invent a time travel machine! Based on history the Thunderbirds Phantoms were “collected” from different sources and who knows to what specification they were originally manufactured. Since they are close to each other based on factory numbers I would imagine fairly similar. What happened to them later is more interesting. On some images the fish tails are visible, even on aircraft in forma
