  1. Truely wonderful art. Thanks for the inpsiration.
  2. Well in some countries it is, but anyway, moving on swiftly. I have another colour match I need. The Gunze Sangyo 35 - Ijn gray as it is on the model paint sheet, when I do a reference check is says it is cobalt blue. The RAL equivalant is RAL 5013 and on the humbrol convertion it says Luftahansa blue, but that doesn't even come close to what the model's paint sheet looks like, is onyone able to tell me what this colour is meant to look like. I would really appreciate it.
  3. Hi guys I got an exact match in "Model Air" number of the paint is -073- I would post the name here but it sort of a rasist word. Thanks for all the suggestions.
  4. Hi all please assist me with a problem I have. I need to paint a few parts on a model, the model says use 28 metalic black - closes reference I found was this: Gunze Sangyo H28 Metallic Black - Hu:201. Does anyone know what the closest this colour would be in Model Air or Tamiya paints it would be. I have looked about everywhere to get a match or even if someone could give me a mix to get to it will be fine. Thank you for your assistance.
  5. Great looking bird man.
  6. Hi Thommo, I am not sure if you have tried this. Put on Mirco-Sol, apply decal, use hairdryer to heat up the decal and using a flat paint brush, slowly paint over the decal, as it cools down it conforms over / into rivets, panel lines. If it doesn't on the first try just add some Micro-Sol to the top of the decal and do it again. Just a word of warning don't over heat the decal. Hope this helps. Nice build, haven't got the courage yet to start with one of these heavies yet. Mark B
  7. Bullet101 - I was thinking the same thing, the euro dust makes everything look real dark, might just add some light dust to the pavement to give it a lighter look. Thanks for the advise and look
  8. Good day all, I have done a bit of weathering on both the tank and the diaroma. Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4 Pic 5 Pic 6 Pic 7 Pic 8 I still have to finish building and painting the crew. Thanks for looking, comments most welcome. Mark B
  9. Nice and neat. Just a tip on the photo's use photo shop or like programs and just up the brightness and drop the contrast a bit, it will solve your no show of the boot marks, etc.
  10. Just a small update, I have found other pilots and going to use them, just waiting for them to get here.
  11. Nice build there, like the photoshop picture too. How was the build? What pigments did you use for the dusty look on the wheels? Thanks for sharing. Mark B
  12. Hi Pierre Sacha, did you get the decals? I have placed an order for the same model locally.
  13. Hi The Migrant, I was thinking the same thing, I have some smaller pieces in the box and will clumb a few together. Hi István I have painted the rails lately, they weren't painted in the pictures above. I will post some more pictures of what I have done (maybe tonight) when I get home and have done the dry paint of the silver on the tram rails. Thanks for the kind remarks everyone. I am busy with the weathering and should have that finished soon.
  14. Hi I have some Tamiya flat base, I have a question if I may. Do I mix it with 1 part clear to 1/2 part matt with 2 thinner, to air brush on the matt? Thanks in advance Mark B.
  15. Here is my first attempt at a diaroma. No the Blu-tack, prestick will not be staying on the diaroma, will be clued down. First a pick of my stash pile, I know not pretty at the moment but working on it. Pic 1: After soap bath and drying. Pic 2: The walls I am going to use. Pic 3: After grey coat for road and masked for frame colour. Pic 4: Masket and with unpainted walls. Pic 5: Idea of how the broken wall and bits will lay. Pic 6: With the tank on from behind the walls. Yes the blu-tac will go Pic 7: Another one with the tank on different angle. Pic 8: Another one
