Nice going Dave. I'm taking some notes for my Apache build w/c was put on hold for quite sometime. Thanks for the updates. -Nicky

Great progress Dave. It nice that you've updated us. Me too didn't make it to the deadline with the same kit. -Nicky
-
Nice update Dave. Wish I could do the same on my kit. More pix please..
-
Very nice. I like your interior modifications, pretty cool! -nicky

Hi, Dave. Very nice update on your Apache. Especially what you did with the Disco light. Was this a resin or styrene part (IR jammer)? Can the mylar be replicated with the use of future applied on several coatings? I hope to do the same with my "disco light" for my AH-64. Thanks for sharing. Nicky

Updates: some details using silver pen and some drybrushing on the Instrument Panels (Academy kit). Sadly, on the Italeri kit, no engraving so I will use the Academy decals. I have no aftermarket PE to add, so I will have to enhance and improvise. same technique was applied to the side panels (pilot and gunner side). On the Italeri, I have to add some strip plastic to extended its side panels and add some decals from the Academy kit. here's the dry fitted cockpit with some potential crew. here's some image of the AWS, I will try to make some details to this baby. ;) more pic

Hey Dave, Quite an update you've got there. It's turning your apache into a very detailed bird. I'll be watching your build, it makes me shy away. B) more pix and happy building. Nicky

Lookin' good, Dave. I dont have the PE parts for the cockpit , but I will try to enhance my Apache too. Happy modelling. Nicky

Very interesting subject, KA-50. I'll be watching this very much, comrade. Good luck on your build. Nicky

Hi Dan, I was gonna call it a rotor farm but the props were somewhere out there. Those birds will be done once the decals have arrive. I just cant pass on the heli GB, that's why they will have to wait. cheers, Nicky

vertex replied to vertex's topic in Helicopter Modeling
Hey, Bulldog. PM on the way. Would you still need Apache decals? I've got some from my Italeri AH-64D. Regards, Nicky -
Hi, guys. Upon inspecting my Apache kits prior to the Heli GB, one sheet was missing. Is there anybody here who has a copy of an instruction sheet of Academy 1/72 AH-64A Apache? I've check Academy Site, doesnt have one. Will appreciate very much for any assistance. Thanks in advance. Nicky
