KursadA
This is my first 1/48 T-38A sheet for the excellent, new Wolfpack kit. It consists of mostly current or recent trainer, companion trainer and adversary aircraft. I will do at least one more sheet with older schemes. Markings for 10 (ten) T-38A. The units/bases covered are: -49th FW (F-22 companion trainer), Holloman AFB -49th FW (F-117 companion trainer), Holloman AFB -586 FLTS "Roadrunners", Holloman AFB -FF adversary, Langley AFB -90FTS "Boxin Bears", Sheppard AFB -560FTS "Charging Cheetahs", Randolph AFB -49FTS "Black Knights", Moody AFB -87FTS "Red Bulls", Laughlin AFB -25FTS "Shooters", Vance AFB -50FTS "Strikin' Snakes", Colombus AFB I just sized everything to fit the beautiful Wolfpack kit (I have the kit). The image here is the final draft, I will make some corrections/layout fixes and send it off to be printed as soon as possible. I hope you like it. I may consider a 1/72 version in the (probably not so near) future.
thegoodsgt
So...you're saying I should but a dozen kits?
Shawn C.
Yes, you made my day with the 49FW Holloman decals when the -38's were there with the F-117's. Looks great!
GEH737
Really looking forward to the "Old School" jets - Hope Laughlin makes the cut, and the Smurf's from Holloman (all the squadron patches would be a nice touch... :) Hitch

Phlip
Hello, As far as I remember, there was a second decal sheet for the T-38 in your "coming soon" sheets. I even remember having seen some pictures of it. Can you please confirm ? Thanks Philippe
KursadA
As far as I remember, there was a second decal sheet for the T-38 in your "coming soon" sheets. I even remember having seen some pictures of it. Can you please confirm ? Yes, I have a second T-38 sheet with older USAF schemes and a couple foreign options (Portugal, Turkey) waiting in the pipeline. I plan to release it toward the end of the year; or earlier if the first T-38 sheet sells out as I expect in the next month or so.
Phlip
Thanks, Well, I wanted to order both sheets at the same time but I guess I'll have to order the first one and then the other one. Can you please post the picture of this second sheet as I can not find it anymore. Thanks Philippe
KursadA
I will post the layout only when I am ready to send it to be printed - a lot can change between now and then. As I mentioned, it will have a couple older all-white USAF trainers, a couple in the two-tone (white/blue) scheme, perhaps one aggressor or two.
Phlip
Oh yes some aggressors please please please !!! And the two tones white / blue scheme !! Can't wait !!!

KursadA
Very nice build from Britmodeller below. This sheet is selling very well, and the second installment (with older USAF schemes) is just around the corner. http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234950841-t-38a-talon-wolfpack-148/ Edited April 3, 2014 by KursadA

I am open to doing it, and many of you have asked for it. Is the Sword kit still widely available? Edited April 6, 2014 by KursadA
rustywelder
We are now down to 4, actually. Well, somebody was going to say it eventually. I am open to doing it, and many of you have asked for it. Is the Sword kit still widely available? Seems to be, still available on Hannants and crops up on ebay quite often. If you do this in 1/72 may I throw out a request for at least one blue/white option.
