  1. If it was mine I would throw a HUMMVEE there just to see some forehead veins explode!! do you display your dios somewhere? living room maybe?
  2. Come on Gino, give us some credit!!! It's just how it "sounds" from our point of view, as I have stated, I use to think the same, and keep doing it, but I got to undesrstand your position wether I agree with it or not! One has to know you a bit more to put things together! let's chill and keep enjoying this modeling madness, accurate or not, It is what it is!!! Let's move on...
  3. Been there done that!! after a while you'll get to understand the dynamics between these two guys! at the end of the day Oliver is gonna do what he wants and Gino is gonna keep pointing out flaws for "the sake of the hobby" too much knowledge on one side, too many skills on the other!! let's just keep enjoying both, cause you get to learn from both of them, not always the nicest way but you get the idea,,,
  4. Ridiculous as usual Elmo!! nice to see you're still going!!
  5. Insane! every little piece of your dios is just mind blowing!
  6. What I admire the most about your builds, other thatn the HUGE display of skills, is the commitment to do every single bit as good as possible, which in your case turns out to be always awesome! It's always a pleasure to follow your builds no matter what you are building
  7. Good news Elmo!! looking forward to it!!!
  8. I like those doors better than the other ones! those jeep like doors look awesome!!!
  9. I was wondering when the whole "redoing stuff" was gonna start!! no matter what you are doing or how long it takes, it's a privilege to have access to this!!! great job!
  10. Wow Elmo!! this has been mind blowing from the beginning and it doesn't seem to change!!!! great job!! but come on, one picture??.... lol! we want to see more!!!
  11. For tight spotsI used narrow strips of dymo tape, IMHO is easier to get in place and you don't cut your templates, but that's me, in a small town in Guatemala, so everything is expensive here and hard to get, anyway your model is off to a great path for what I can see!!
  12. The thing about modelling is that some things work for some modellers and some just don´t!! what will work for you is about trying. I don't have Elmo´s skills to make a line without a guide line, and dymo tape is really hard to get here. but I would listen to him... Now I get why rescribing was so exhausting!! LOL, I hold my breath too!
  13. BTW, I use to scribe the lines without sanding the existing ones, that way you have a nice guide and if you do it slowly and softly most of the times you won´t even need the tape nor the templates.
  14. That's exactly what I was going to tell you! those templates are really nice and helpful! and Dymo tape! and loads of patience tho!!!
