Wanted - 1/72nd Mosquito two stage Merlin resin sets?
aeroplanegripper replied to aeroplanegripper's topic in Props
Gents, Many thanks for all your replies. Have ordered a Pavla set from Hannants (Im sure I looked there earlier!) Happy Modelling! Mark -
Hi everyone, Im really trying in vain at the moment to locate any resin aftermarket sets for a Merlin two stage nacelles for the excellent Tamiya 1/72nd Mosquito. I read in the excellent Osprey Modelling the Mosquito that Airwaves and DB made a set, are they still about? Does anybody know? Appreciate any help or a push in the right direction. Cheers

Hi Gents, I have only seen the same photo myself. I checked with the excellent Little friends web site and did a search of Roy Caviness previous a/c. It seems he brought his previous P-51 44-14251 E9-C over with him from the 361FG 376FS where she was nicknamed "Goona". Dont know if this helps any. Best Regards Mark

Fantastic review and build set, really well done. I have the 1/72nd prototype version I picked up at Telford, so quite a bit to keep in mind. Many thanks again Mark -
Hi everyone, This is going to be my first attempt for a group build. Tamiya's 1/72nd P-47D Bubbletop with markings for Lt Howard Sholz of the 78th FG at Duxford. Here goes! Regards Mark Not this one!
