maurizio
HI There, I'm doing this little jem in my office during the lunch time when it's raining and I cannot go outside for running. I'm doing the AB-212ASW (please refer to the heli forum) at home. Note the steering job on the frontal wheels. The building is out of the box (OOB) but some improvements are necessary. Tank
Looking good, how's the EX706E1 coming along?
maurizio
Dear Tank, thanks for your reply. The 706 is laying apart waiting for a new inspiration. I really need to build some quick and OOB kits for reducing the number of kits I have together a very detailed job on my AB-212ASW (refer to helicopter forum). I've added a very light anti slip rough surface to the frontal part of the APC using an old brush and the Gunze Mr. Surfacer.

Like the slip coat, I have heard Gino using a Rust-Oleum Terra Cotta spray can. Just interested in 706 cause I plan to following something similar to your on my 150. Hope it can turnout as nice as your builds one day. I understand doing OOB builds to clear your mind. :thumbsup:/> Edited October 22, 2013 by Tank
maurizio
The cutting wire arm has been detailed with some weldings coming from stretched sprues as well as the main grill.

Looking good so far Maurizio! Mike
maurizio
Thanks mate, the antislip surfaces on Pumas are a little bit flat not too rough like on merkavas and Others. This is the reason why I used the liquid putty. I've used a powder used by dentist for my M1117 Guardian glued with strong hair spray (for women obviously.....). See my previous topic about the ended Guardian on this forum. Here is the picture: Here are some new shots: I've reduced the deep of the inner ribs inorder to accomodate the EGYS resin wheels: Close up of the added welding parts
maurizio
Almost done. Wheels are from Egys Models(Italian company).

maurizio
HI Mike, yes, it's a quick assembly. Working some minutes everyday during the lunch time in office it's proceeding fast. It is now complete but I'm waiting to finish the PUMA 6X6 MP (Military Police) version in order to use the HUMBROL Green 102 as base for both kits, saving time.... maurizio
Going to the bodyshop! First of all a coat of Tamiya spray black for a better paint grip obtain some shadows. Don't take care if the final result hasn't a nice looking. it's only a base. Pictures take when the paint was still wet. Humbrol 102 green coat is on. Photos with and without camera flash. maurizio
NATO black is on. Camo pattern is not out of my fantasy. All the Pumas have the same identical camo scheme so you are obliged to follow it. Preparing the brown that is a mix of the pictured paints.
