Jinxter13 Posted August 30, 2014 Share Posted August 30, 2014 (edited) A lot of us who have been here for a long time, will remember the "Rumor monger" Matt Roberts, and how his sudden loss to us, left us feeling a little short. So I'm telling you now while I still can, ie, before I'm in a box covered with flowers I can't see or smell. Well in that line of thinking I'm letting all know. To all those who are on my friends list, you all have done something or have helped me in ways I could not have normally had; only here and in very few other places. Each of you is special to me I want to thank you so very much for the tips, parts, trades, brotherly barbs and banter, and in ways which can't be measured tangibly. Some of you I converse with almost on a daily/weekly basis, and for a homebound wheelchair jockey that means a LOT :D . I have family, but you guys fill the void that family can't with camaraderie, with your modeling help, kindred spirit banter, and other things. Don't get me wrong my family takes very good care of me, I couldn't ask for better, and I don't; however ARC is a family of another genre, a very important one. Not to cut anyone short there are folks not on that list that have given me a timely tip here and there that pulled my fat outta da fire also. It's hard to explain or put into words, but if I put those folks on the list I'd may as well just have Steve and the mods make all of ARC my friends, and we know that would be illogical. Are some more special, yes, but only I and they know, and I'm not gonna name names, they know who the are. So to those on that list, from the bottom of my heart a Texas sized THANK YOU, for being here or there to help me as you have others, I can't speak for them, but for me you have lifted my spirits, and made my hobby life easier and to the rest of my ARC family, without each and every one of you there may not be an ARC it's you folks that make ARC not the kits, topics, or subjects....You are the forums , YOU ARE ARC. Added: All you do for me or with me is deeply appreciated...and yes I'M ADDICTED to ARC. BTW Don't read anything into this that isn't....just think of it as adding coolant to the radiator before the engine overheats. I'm sure everyone here feels the same about you -just as the ARC community fulfils a unique roll in each of its individual member's lives, it works the other way also!
