SERNAK
That's the good-old Monogram kit. It's in my to-build list (along with a few more...). Good luck with your build NavyPhantoms and welcome aboard!!!
NavyPhantoms
A cockpit shot. The kit goes together easily but there will be some filling needed.

Ichitoe
Your build is coming along nicely! Do you use the Apple Barrel paint for weathering/detailing? Mike
SERNAK
I hate to disappoint you NavyPhantoms BUT, if you're planning to build the VFC-111 F-5F, they had the extended LEXs and "shark-mouth" radome. Yours is the old one with the initial short-LEXs and narrow radome. The extended LEXs are easy to build - I have done this in the past using photos for reference but, the "shark-mouth" radome now that's a bit difficult to make from scratch. Mike No, I didn't use the Apple Barrel pain on this one but the bottles make a nice stand to work on. I have used craft paints over the last year with some success. I'm not doing the VFC-111 scheme. It's cool but I'm building an older 'F'.
