Darren Roberts
My dad's cousin has a command position in the 180th TFW of the Ohio Air Guard based in Toledo. He had helped my dad out, so I thanked him with a model for his desk. I used the Revell kit, Superscale decals, and ordnance from the new Kinetic F-18 kit. He has a patch that he's going to attach to the base. Overall it was a fun project. I kind of like "in-flight" models. I may have to do more of them. falcon20driver
Looks great. In flight builds just look right.
Fighting Eighty-Four
Looks awesome, and I have to say that is a nice choice of subject (I am from Ohio LOL). I also love the in-flight pose, and building in that configuration. More than half of my builds have been that way. Now you gotta build a famous D-Rob Tomcat in flight! dnl42
Outstanding! I'm going to steal your base idea for a 1/144 138 FS F-16 I just finished for a co-worker.
balls47
Nice job Darren! Is this Revell's 1/48 scale Snap-Kit or their 1/48 scale Thunderbirds kit?
