Don
Hey ARC Armor builders! Just thought that I would post a few pictures of my 1/35 Tamiya Tiger I mid-production work in progress: The styrene is slowly being covered with PE zimmerit so I am beginning to refer to it as my "brass Tiger": The one side skirt is just press fit on...nice and snug too...but I will be super gluing both skirts on later tonight: Still lots of fiddly bits to add on prior to priming. I try to build OOB as much as possible but I've been wanting to try PE zimmerit for a long while now so when the Eduard sheet went on sale for a song I snagged one. I need to tidy up some of the seams with either Mr. Surfacer or very thinned putty (haven't decided): I also added Eduard PE screens over the engine vents but I forgot to take photos of it...sorry. My Tiger will wear camouflage and markings of a machine that operated in Normandy against the British and Canadians in Villiers-Bocage country inspired by this great book: Thanks for looking comments, thoughts, opinions welcome. Don.
