Tom Posted August 23, 2014 Share Posted August 23, 2014 RCN Sea Furies were known to carry 1000lb H.E. bombs. Were these a British design and the same type as carried by Typhoons during WWII? There is a picture in Squadron's Sea Fury in Action with an A/C with folded wings with bombs attached. Although they appear to be only 500lb units, could folded wings support a 1000lb bomb?
