EKA-3B decals in the future?

Recommended Posts

Kursad,

I picked up the 1/48 Trumpeter KA-3B kit yesterday. As it turns out, it has everything to build an EKA-3B. Does Caracal have any plans to release some of the colorful and interesting schemes for this variant?

I'm particularly a fan of VAQ-34 with the diagonal stripes on the rear fuselage, and detailed badges.

Thanks.

Chris

Hi Chris,

I was not expecting the Trumpeter EKA-3B before much later this year, and the inclusion of EKA-3B parts in this kit came as a surprise. There are quite a few EKA-3B schemes that I really liked, but could not include in the previous sheets since there was no kit available at the time.

I think an EKA-3B sheet would be a good idea, but I have too many decal sheet projects in flight right now, both the ones I announced so far and a few that I have not disclosed yet. I will definitely consider doing an EKA-3B sheet if it still is not done by the time I have some time to take on a new project.

Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.

I was surprised to see the parts included as well, which prompted my post. I picked up one of your KA-3B sheets the other day without looking at the parts. Oh, well!

Too many subjects and not enough time, so it sounds like business is good.

Keep up the work. You and the guys at Fightertown and Furball have done a great job of filling the void left by Afterburner and TwoBobs (still out there but nothing going on).

Chris
