  1. What did you use for the PSP? Trying to find something myself.
  2. Can't seem to find the answer in my searches as to what is the difference between Mr Color's Clear and Ultra Clear? Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
  3. Well close enough anyway. I started this one back in early 2010, worked on it a little in 2011 and finally got back to it in late 2014. It was mostly finished in 2011 before I really started looking at weathering more than a wash. The final steps really gave me fits so I decided to just get it done and get it outta my hair. I was going to start it as a crashed dio for a inner club contest, didn't make it very far. Revisited for another inner club contest, but again got no where. Like mentioned, the final phases gave me fits... 1) Something happened on the clear coat leaving little white ble
  4. Thanks AM! I used this particular tutorial in this instance. LINKY LINK
  5. Picked this kit up several years ago on the cheap from Great Models when it still was Great Models. Got this one and a USS Los Angeles figuring they would be something fun to tinker around with and not eat up a bunch of cash. Got to building this one and decided to try my hand at water. 1-700_HobbyBoss_Uboat-6 by Hickory Hill Photography, on Flickr 1-700_HobbyBoss_Uboat-5 by Hickory Hill Photography, on Flickr 1-700_HobbyBoss_Uboat-4 by Hickory Hill Photography, on Flickr 1-700_HobbyBoss_Uboat-3 by Hickory Hill Photography, on Flickr 1-700_HobbyBoss_Uboat-2 by Hickory Hill Pho
  6. Ok I might of exaggerated a bit.......it's not that bad. I guess the instrument panel is really just a simple layout anyway, so the kit good for that.....just some decal faces maybe. I did miss when looking the throttle controls and estiguisher, so that's good.
  7. They are not for the new Revell, but maybe they could be tweaked a bit to work. Gotta be better than the kit things! Hell, anything would be better that the kits version!
  8. Lonestar has instrument panels and seats. I haven't really looked closely at my PT-17 copy to see how it looks.
  9. Trying to find some ref pics of Guatemalan Ryan PT-20's. Aztec Decals has a couple options on one of their sheets that I have ordered and waiting on. So obviously they saw some photos somewhere. A paper model company has profiles for several as well. Ideally I would like to find a pic of the single seat like below as it would be a cool option from the normal two seaters. Biggest Q is the color. Looks like on Aztec's instructions they call out for Neutral gray rather then NMF. Anyone have anything on this? THANKS!
  10. OMG.......YOU ROCK! Thanks! PM coming!
  11. Still monkeying with this darn 109 that's been on the bench for a long time. Stripped and remasked the canopy. Got it mounted and painted. Used sticky notes to mask and how be damned it didn't pull a decal off. So my first thought was in the trash. I dug it out thinking I'd strip it and use the other option on the sheet. Then I though I'd see if I can find another crest. It's $15 + shipping for a new sheet just to get one little crest. I'm not a Luftwaffe guy at all......can anyone think of any other options in 1/48? Maybe on another sheet? The other option is just to
