  1. Ok group, I really don't like doing this, but I feel I must my fellow modelers the heads up. Ebay trader 051hunter1701 aka Chris Deegan is practicing deceptive marketing. About a month ago I won an auction for a Hasegawa 09509 1/48 F-4J "Liberty Bell". The seller called himself 051hunter1701. The listing was described as "New in Box". However, the box had been opened. The pictures indicated that the Liberty Bell decal sheet was missing, but I was willing to accept that. I wanted to use other markings anyway.   2. Here is my Revell X-15A2. This was originally molded by Monogram in the 1980s. Kit decals were used but the ventral fin was extended to represent the in-flight configuration. I also opened the starboard side canopy window and cut apart the standing crew figure to fit in the cockpit. Panel lines were sanded away and rescribed. Krlyon gloss black was applied as the base color with varying panels brush painted with a metallic graphite/rust/black mix according to references.
