  1. Thanks for the correction. I’m planning on building a 1/48 Raptor in this configuration and did buy a set of the LAU-128s after noticing the difference between the Navy/USAF ones.
  2. Awesome build you’ve done of the Blue Angel. I checked in the Hobby Boss kit, I have both the F and G. The EA-18G has Sprue H from the F kit which contains the pre ACS shroud and panel which will be spare so I have options with either Hasegawa or HB parts.
  3. Thanks for the pointer, looks like the Hasegawa parts were made for the Meng kit. Thanks for the help. 👍
  4. Well that’s handy because I’ve got quite a few Hasegawa EA-18Gs and they include the original Sprue F from the -18F kit and only the G uses the new panel and shroud. So I’ve got plenty of spares. I’ll do a dry fit and see how it looks.
  5. Hi all. I have a couple of Meng 1/48 F/A-18F super hornets and was thinking of doing an early EMD Block 1 jet but then as I was browsing through the instructions I stumbled upon a problem. Whilst it was nice of Meng to give use the option of early segmented ECS vents as well as the updated Bard stacks, there’s no option to backdate the cockpit as only the updated ACS instrument panel and shroud are provided. As far as I can tell, the bard stacks came before the ACS cockpit. Anyone else noticed this and any options of backdating the cockpit??
  6. It’s the adapter between the LAU-127s that’s the difficult one to confirm. There doesn’t seem to be anything common in the USAF inventory that is recognisable.
  7. I just came across a 2014 article showing testing of AIM-120 missiles on outboard wing pylons on the F-22 Raptor: https://www.ausairpower.net/raptor.html I know the F-22 can now be fitted with fuel tanks on the inboard wing pylons but I’d like to know if someone can identify the actual layout of the pylon setup in this photo from the article: Would it be safe to assume that they are the standard inboard tank pylons on the outboard store’s location with an additional same pylon with LAU-127 rails? Grateful for any input.
  8. Anyone got this sheet to sell or trade?: https://twobobs.net/contents/en-us/p714_32-069-F-16C-Arctic-Splinters-Part-II.html
  9. If anyone has the decal sheet going spare from the Airfix 1/48 Gloster Meteor F.8 kit I'd be very grateful to take it off your hands! Send me a PM if you're able to help. I've asked Airfix directly for a replacement sheet but they claim the kit is out of production and therefore they can't supply a sheet. Either the RAF kit: Or the RAAF Korea kit:
  10. Ok so this is a really long shot in the hope that someone may have gone down a different path using the HK Models 1/32 B-17 and not used the following parts. I'm after parts M11 and M12 which are the mount supports for the ball turret: Plus any additional radio epuipment ie M19, M20 and K-20:
  11. Can anyone help with obtaining a Wolfpack or Steel Beach 1/48 Flaps down set for the Revell Super Hornet? Happy to negotiate price or swap for something.
  12. Hi All I'm after sprue G from the new tool Airfix 1/72 Lancaster B.III Dambuster kit. This sprue contains the bombay parts for carrying the bouncing bomb. If anyone has this sprue in their spares box, I'd be grateful if you're willing to part with it.
  13. Ah sorry I hadn’t updated this post. Sorted the issue by a combination of Eduard PE and Quinta Studios 3D Decals.
