  1. This is the pylon in question. a close up with the pylon attached to the wing the whole scenario in plastic... I used indeed the upper part of the standard pylon but modified the rear section Best, Robert
  2. Thanks Commando for mentioning the decals - there have been releases from Model Art and IPMS Austria. Most recent however is the new sheet from Matterhorn Circle: Peace Alps Part One allows you to do almost any of the Swiss and Austrian F-5E/F but the ones that carried some special nose art or the Patrouille Suisse. All the stencils (French & German) for two aircraft are included. The instructions come like this: This decal sheet is available from wingsandtracks.ch or directly from myself by email. if you are interested, feel free to check out the Matterhorn Circle Websi
  3. Hi T I wrote this comment in spite that the fit of the kit is otherwise excellent and I was very surprised about the diffrence of the thickness between the wingroot and the swing wing. 2mm gap in 1/72 scale... definitely huge! But please let me repeat that even without modifications but simple force (hence the clamp), this will build very nicely and convincing. This kit is definitely worth building - an eyecatcher. Best, Robert

Hi Torchf4 uhhh... you must make the decision before you go searching. The two variants come in different boxings. Lucky Model would be a good starting point for a search... cheers, Robert

    Tu-22M3

Hello Keith I wonder too how this vac-form canopy will look like - here just two picture to compare the issue: and the Neomega sets seems to be available: Neomega Tu-22 cockpit I displayed this model at the IPMS Switzerland contest in Basel on the weekend October 2nd. It zapped... it's definitely worth the effort to build it! Best, Robert
  7. This is the Tu-22M3 Backfire from Trumpeter. The kit is full of never ending details and the weakest point is probably the cockpit after you have thrown away the wheels. The decals and a nervous breakdown come from Authentic Decals. A zillion decals with the thinnest of decal films achievable… To say it straight from the beginning – this was a fun build and the parts fit very well with one exception – this later. I was lucky – I still had a set of Equipage wheels for this aircraft and I got the KT-1M seats from Neomega. Warned by the build from Ken Duffy and others I removed the cock
  8. Angels49 - Oh yes... cheating small people - big mountains - bigger egos... This is the Academy kit in 172 with the Wolfpack Design Wings attached. Colors are as described FS3620 over FS36375 by Gunze - maybe a bid too dark for this scale
  9. Hello Signals this is what you are looking for - the 'low drag' wing pylon for the AIM-120 Best, Robert
