  1. Fantastic job on the landning gear, i'm building a Ml in 1/48 so this is very useful as a reference. Jakob
  2. Thank you Janne! very appreciated! I'm on a skiing holiday at the moment so progress will continue when i get back to Stockholm. Cheers Jakob
  3. Nice Pictures Harvy! Thank you especially for the Picture of the front wheel well. I hadn't found any pics of it when a did the front wheel well detailing so I had to make something up. I will not change it now however at it's already glued in Place. I'm planning to build a SU-25 in 1/32 to so then the pics will definitely come in handy.
  4. Thank you Nicholas! Appreciate it!
  5. Thank you Mark! It means alot to here something like that from someone on here, thank you! Jakob
  6. Another quick update, I’ve glued the cockpit to the fuselage. The IPs are just held by blue tack so that is why they are a little crooked. Will try to close the fuselage up today to, looking forward to it. Please enjoy the pictures: Jakob
  7. Work continues. I've painted up the front wheel well and glued it into the fuselage, it isn't perfect but since you won't se much of it anyway in the end i doesn't really matter. All the colors are vallejo air airbrushed and brushpainted and the wash is Flory black wash. A couple of pics: Jakob
  8. Awesome work! This is going to look super when done! Using the ruler to spray the fans was really smart, i'm going to use that in the future. Jakob
  9. From what I’ve read both number 21 and 20 partook in the attack. The FACI bought two dual seaters and two single seaters however the single seaters never saw operational services before the French destroyed all 4 after the attack on the French peacekeepers. During the attack two SU-25s where used so it has to be both 20 and 21, here is a video of the actual attack showing two SU-25s flying in formation . And a picture of the result of the French retaliation, and thanks for the nice comments: Jakob
  10. Looks like an interesting project, will definitely be following your progress. Jakob
  11. Great job Joel, will definitely be following this! This kit seems to be a very nice one, maybee i should buy me one... Jakob
  12. First of all thank you guys for the very kind comments! Work on the SU-25 continues and today I focused on the front wheel well which OOB is completely void of any detail what so ever. From the beginning I had decided that I wouldn't do any work on it since I thought that not much would be seen but seeing that the SU-25 sits rather high on the nose wheel you can actually see quite a lot of the underside of the fuselage and thus also the wheel wells. The added detail is Eduard etch and wire, the brackets holding the wires are strips of PE. Here is a couple of pictures of the result and feel fr
  13. Hello! Time to start another build and continue the African theme. This time I’m going to build an Ivorian SU-25UB used by the Ivorian Air Force (FACI) in 2004 against rebel forces and I’m planning to build red 20. The kit is KP's SU-25UB/UBK and it's their Masterline version so it comes with a really nice multimedia cockpit too. Here's a good link if you're interesting in reading about the SU-25 in FACI service LINK . Lastly I’ll round of with a picture of the nice shark mouth of a FACI SU-25 and a couple of pictures of the cockpit that I have painted. Feel free to comment! J
  14. Super cool idea and diorama, great work!
  15. Very nice job on that F-14 and the F-4 in the background. I really like that the markings match. Is that the Hasegawa kit, i'm wondering as i am a little worried that the decals won't fit the hobby boss kit but if you have the HB one then that's sorted. I realize now that it's a little hard to see how my modification looks like in the photos but hopefully it will be easier to see after a coat of paint. Also is there someone that knows how much the gull grey/white planes weathered? Haven't found any good pictures of it but i suspect it wasn't that much? Jakob
