But what do you watch or listen to when you are at the workbench? Myself it depends on my mood. I have a cable box with a DVR and a AppleTV 2 box connected to my TV. Lately I have been watching old TV shows like Dragnet, ADAM-12 and Emergency on NetFlixs. I have also been known to listen to audiobooks or my varied music collection. My fall back is my police scanner, where I can listen to LA County Sheriff / Fire departments. I also have SoCal approach available. One extreme to the next depending on what my subject is and what mood I may be in. Fast movers need fast music. Airliners need laid back tunes. Bombers and armor somewhere in between. Rush one night...Iron Maiden the next...then Louis Armstrong...Miles Davis...KISS...U2....BB King...Johnny Coltrane...Herbie Hancock...Metallica...Pantera......... It's all good. Except today's Pop...man that drives me insane ! I have tried listening to my 12 year old Daughters music...I mean REALLY tried...and I just can't feature it. It's terrible...no originality.
