Looks like a nice selection of statics! Love the A-10C, looks so clean, I didn't realize they had changed the tail code. And nice to see the bombers out there on static. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice selection, I wish east coast venues would get more variety like the west coast and mid west shows do, would love to see aggressors of any kind, 16, 15, F-5s, and foreign military birds like tornados, typhoons. I know most of these birds pictured are stored but there is variety. Thanks for sharing.

Nice pics, interesting to see a Strikemaster there.

Indeed, a long way from where it used to call home. That Strikemaster was last seen doing joyrides in Australia, I wonder what it's doing in the US? It's the real NZ6361, not the ersatz one with the backwards roundels that was operating in the UK and is the subject of the Fly kit.

Hi,

Nice selection there. I'm guessing the F-14 and Blue Angels F/A-18B are boneyard residents that have been pulled out for static display looking at the AMARC codes on them? Is there many F-14s left as I was under the impression that they chopped them all - besides museum airframes and gate guards - ASAP because of fears that parts might somehow make their way to Iran? I was about to say as a photographer it would be very frustrating to find the covers still in place over the canopies but then I realised it's the coating that's applied at AMARC. One day I would love to get out there and have a look, maybe do one of those over flights that I've seen the pictures from. Problem is I doubt I can stand the heat! Don't usually have that problem in the UK.

Gary - There are probably only about a half a dozen F-14s left at AMARG. The 14, F-4 and the 18 are all bone yard refugees for the open house. The past several times a Hun, Thud and F-106 were also towed over, but not this year. I believe those aircraft are still on Celebrity Row.

It is funny that you mention the heat. I will be in England for a week in June and don't want to be away from the warm weather here!
