Hi! We are have a new model!

This CRJ-100 1/144.

Kit contains injection molded plastic parts, resin parts, photo etched detals and masks for window and windscreen. 3 color chemes The model was developed using 3D CAD technology.

Great news! A kit of this aircraft was long overdue. What decals are supplied and how can I order? After all we are supposed to help the Ukrainian economy from collapsing, so consider this my part. I really like what you did to the cabin windows. In this way everybody people have a choice of keeping them open or use decals. I do not really understand why the engine and tail are made from resin however. Why is that?

ModelsUA has it in stock for $23,50 (around €17,60). I ordered from them two years ago and it arrived in about two weeks so that's good!

I'm still waiting for the mysterious other manufacturer of which is said they are working on a line of 1:144th CRJ's, to compare the quality before I buy one. But I must say the BPK one looks very nice!

Very nice!! :thumbsup: If I hadn't already spent a lot of time fixing the Welsh kit, I'd be all over this one. Now, if someone were to release some USAirways Express decals for it....

I hope you released more 1/144 regional airliners at such a good price! An injection-molded Dash-8, ERJ-145, ERJ-190, Beech 1900, etc., would be great.

Jeez the molding quality looks fabulous, & it looks like all the innovative solutions found on your 1/72 737 made it to such a tiny 1/144 kit, bravo !

Will order a few for sure, thank you for injecting some fresh air into the airliner modelling !

Hi All,

I agree with jennings that they all different from each other. The only ones that are currently available at the present time is the Braz Conversion for the revell Canadair Cl-601 and BPK of this aircarft. The Authentic Airliners kit of CRJ 200 and 700 will be discontinued.

I was a part owner of a family Hobbycentre in Oz as a retailer in the 2012. I understand how hard it is to keep selling model kit in this industry.

I bought two just to check it out but I am sure without a doubt the AA kit is better.

With this post and the others on Britmodeller and Airlinercafe you need to calm down a bit otherwise some people will start to think you're being paid by Authentic Airliners to hijack every thread and increase sales of Kurts kits. And to come into a thread started by the manufacturer and state that his newly released kits aren't as good as someone else's is very insensitive.

As mentioned by someone else, it's a different kit targeting a slightly different market. I haven't got bottomless reserves to fund my hobby so I'll buy the BPK kit (I do have the AA kit too) and build up the "fleet" of CRJs in the many various colours I like. More power to you if you like (worship?) AA and can afford to buy scores of Kurts kits.

My apologies to BPK,

Even though I did not intended to hijack the thread, I guess I did.

I order some kits to look at them and to ad on to my CRJ fleet.

You are right, different kit from AA. It is plastic and not resin and a lot cheaper.

For the record, I am not getting paid by AA!!!

I am nothing more than an extremely satisfied customer and yes I will continue to

spend my "unlimited model resources" buying more AA kits.;)

And yes I do "worship" AA kits, they are incredible!!

Though, I don`t have this kit in my hands yet, I must say it looks outstanding. To be honest, it looks so beautiful, that I decided to discontinue the AA kit. Nevertheless, I may do some minor improvements and add-ons, like extended flaps, for your kit.

Wow!

My faith in modelling folks has been restored. I'm very happy to see this kind of collaboration going on. I know it happens, but seeing such clear evidence of it confirms my belief that most people working in this niche hobby industry are providing stuff that will fit a need, and not actively trying to put each other out of business.

I have ordered a CRJ 100 kit from BPK, and it should arrive in a couple weeks. So far I am very pleased with the ease of ordering, paying online, and the feedback I have gotten at each step of the process from BPK.

Now who is going to make some Air Canada decals for this? LEM, Canuck Models, are you listening?

One minor question: are the CRJ-200 engines identical (external, at least) to those of the -100? As far as I know the engines are the only difference but I can't spot any. It should build up into a -200 as well, right? (with other decals, of course)

Useless trivia: I think it was even possible to have both a CF34-3A1 (the CRJ-100's engine) and a CF34-3B1 (the -200's engine) on the same airplane. I think the only differences between the 2 versions of the jet were some engine temperature limits.

I am really looking forward to building this kit! :woot.gif:
