Don
Hello all, Well, at long last my 2nd ever car model is finished...well close enough for now. It's modeled after a restored 1969 Camaro. I placed the model on "jacks" over a mirror similar to what you see at real auto shows that allow the viewer to see both the upper and lower car without having to get on their hands and knees (or in the model world...without having to tilt your head to the side and lay it flat on the table... ;) ). She's mounted to wooden dowels using brass pegs inserted into holes drilled in her tires...my Camaro isn't falling off those "jacks": I still have some nit-picky details to add (turn signals for example). But for the most part it's complete: I LOVE the Tamiya rattle-can paint! The color shimmers and shines and almost seems to change color depending on the viewers perspective and lighting. You can view the entire build here with more detailed in-build pictures: http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?showtopic=277685 Well folks, thanks for taking of your time to look at my completed Camaro. I do appreciate it! She's no world beater or contest queen I know...but she's mine and I am proud of her. Please feel free to leave me a comment. Kindest regards, Don

Don
Thanks guys! I REALLY enjoyed this build. The kit itself was a little tricky in spots and definitely not a "Shake-an-build" kit. But it was really well detailed and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a '69 Camaro in their collection. I learned a lot, which is important for my next car build...which should begin this weekend ! Regards, Don.
