ziggyfoos
I don't know what the "fan" is but he mentions he put in an envelope with a stamp. I assume the "fan" was a part, if so, regular 1st class stamp/envelope may have been eaten/torn/lost/shredded by USPS sorting machines since it's not supposed to be rigid items sent that way. Rigid items (even in envelopes) need to be sent as a parcel ($2+). Not to say it can't happen, but best not to try sending rigid/parts in a normal stamped envelope. Doesn't explain the refund envelope though.
Dutch
The fan he mentions is a resin engine face for an A-4 Skyhawk with about 3/4 inch of the duct molded to the front, ala the Hasegawa A-4 engine facing, so not at all appropriate for a regular envelope. Dutch
So I posted this rant this morning after waiting 24 hours for Ted to reply to my PM. When I got home from work today, the daily mail included a sealed plastic bag from the USPS with a standard no. 10 envelope from Ted. The envelope had been damaged in transit because it was too thick for the automatic postal sorting machine. It had a small slit in the front and a four inch slit in the back. Inside was a piece of paper folded over five times with my refund included in a cash wad. I suspect Ted sent the original resin piece the same way. I've learned a lesson. So, Ted, I am sincerely sorry for dragging your name through the mud over this transaction and regret not trusting your word. In the future, I will work more closely with a seller and insist on proper packaging and postal tracking. My sincere apologies, Dutch
B-ONE27
Wow, I haven't been on ARC in a few days but now seeing how you put even my mailing address on here in the bad trader post really disgust me Dutch. No doubt there was a issue somewhere along the transit after leaving my hands, but I communicated with you Dutch the entire time...but due to this blast putting personal information out here in cyberspace I don't accept your apology and will no longer be posting on ARC. Your assumption on mailing was wrong, you could've simply asked around the site first before you assumed per usual that I'm a bad trader...you say error on me for mailing envelope with refund...well how else would you mail concealed cash, except to appear as a regular letter, with sufficient postage...also you mention I offered no refund, which is pure bs, clearly IT shows in our communication you plastered on the site that I never hesitated to return your money...in fact your beef needs to be directed at your local post office for screwing up both of my transactions and having me lose out two times!! Why the hell would a regular letter envelope be torn and now show up, it wasn't like it was stuffed beyond acceptable postal standards...I do know how to mail items genius!
