jmel
I posted a few teaser profiles a while ago, but I've since finished up the remainder of the sheet and sent it off to print with #48011 (F-4Es). This sheet is dedicated to AFRES/AFRC A-10s,ranging from 1983 up through March 2015. Specifically, we have 3 jets from Grissom (two Euro 1 and one in two-tone gray), five examples from New Orleans with incredible Desert Storm artwork, two more New Orleans jets from 2002 with Enduring Freedom artwork, one BD jet with Desert Storm markings, one BD jet from 2010, one from the new DP guys at Davis-Monthan from earlier this year, and five from Whiteman AFB, including two with OEF mission markings from late last year. Both styles of full stencils are included for early and late jets, along with markings for the ejection seats and ALQ-131 ECM pods. This will be the last decal sheet released prior to the Nationals. I need to wrap up a few details for The Modern SLUF Guide and get it to the printers, then I'll post some profiles and more info for the F-4E and A-10 sheets. As always, thanks for your support! Djack
I am loving the Whiteman Hogs...with my Kansas City Chiefs logo on the tail. I love how they kept the 'KC' tail code from when they were in my backyard at Richards-Gebaur AFB here in KC. It'll always take me back to the good old days as a kid hanging out there watching them. jefropas
Looks good, can't wait for the 45th...did you include the small Barksdale hogsmouths for their ACES 2's? Jeff
jmel
Looks good, can't wait for the 45th...did you include the small Barksdale hogsmouths for their ACES 2's? Jeff I wanted to, but they weren't on the specific jet I chose for the sheet. With the recent Zotz sheet, I didn't want to have too much overlap so I didn't put many BD jets on it. Just one from desert Storm and another from the 45th after it moved to DM. Jake

jmel
This sheet is on hold just for a few weeks. A friend in one of the squadrons suggested I wait just a bit due to some "change in markings" that may warrant an appearance" on this sheet. More news very soon. jmel
That is the one, Andy! I drew the artwork for it today and will fit it onto the sheet and get it to the printers ASAP.
skyhawk174
That is the one, Andy! I drew the artwork for it today and will fit it onto the sheet and get it to the printers ASAP. Fit it on the sheet? Where? :) I have built my 1/48 Hog many years ago so I had no real urgency to do another one while other models in my stash sat sadly looking at me. However with the advent of the new release kits and now this decal I am excited once again to get building yet another Hog. This is a great sheet Jake and I think I will get rid of my other Superscale, Daco and other brands since this is the only one to really get. I still like the Monogram kit and not too enthused about the HB kit with its multitude of errors. I wonder if they can be fixed though. Maybe cross kit with the Monogram one? Djack
Gladly will wait some extra time for the added teeth to the sheet...I always wondered why they didn't ever have any. SO cool! David
