I think, but don't qoute me, the base they are doing the show at supports the next move. Last week here at Altus the support folks came in on a Dover C-5. When they lrft it was on one of our C-17s. I'm guessing that The closest base with airlift supports the move to and from the bases that don't have heavies. Bill

Ken M Please note that 1. I kept my mouth shut on this one. 2. I just sat in my little corner and laugh my arse off at it. ramprat :D -
Seems to me we did this before, but here goes anywho. joined the USAF ib 1967, worked on WC-130A/Es, C-130's, C-141s both as a mech and Flight engineer, AC-130A/H as an I.O., OV-10s, A-26Ks, A-1s, C-5s. Retired in 1988. Currently in civil service for the past ten years worked on C-141s until they left, C-5Bs, and now the C-17s. Bill

Like I said, rumor mill. Theres more guesses and SWAGs flying around then you can count. Only thing that counts is everyone made it. bill

Hey guys (and gals) latest word ( rumor, Hear say, B.S. etc) we have here at Altus is that on T.O. number two engine flamed out. The crew started a routine three engine go around when number 1 engine swallowed a bird, then all hell broke loose. Thats all we have from the rumor mill for now. Bill
