Dragon M-1A1 AIM just reissued

Recommended Posts

That is the new version that is scheduled to come out soon. It is an M1A2 SEP v2 which has the commander's .50cal replaced with a CROWS remote weapons station. It is the latest version in the US Army inventory. I don't know if the standard M1A2 SEP will be reissued or not, or if the parts to build it will still be in the v2 kit.

Man I hope so! But I highly doubt it. By not including them then they can release a separate kit and garner more sales. But we can dare to dream can't we...

I received an AIM for Christmas for my mother in law, shrink-wrapped from Spruebrothers, and when I opened it, there was no metal in there at all. No PE, and no metal barrel. There was also no Magic Tracks, but two lengths of "rubber band" (I think that is what you armor modelers call them). I can live without the Magic Tracks, but I'm wondering, is it normal for them not to come with the PE and barrel now? The PE is shown in the instructions still, but not the barrel. It is, however, still mentioned on the box and on the item description at Spruebrothers.

So, if this isn't normal, what do I need to do about it? Obviously it was sent to Gordon this way, so I don't hold him at fault. But do I need to contact him, as the retailer, or do I talk to Dragon directly some-how?

Aaron

I mentioned this in your other thread, but you can contact Dragon at www.Dragoncare.com I probably would check with them and email Gordon at SB and ask which way they prefer to handle it. Pretty sure the only change was supposed to be swapping the older magic tracks for the newer DS tracks with the hollow guide horn. It should still have PE, the metal parts for the light wires and the barrel
